hello!

I've been in the TV industry since 2002, working up from runner to camera operator with a taste of many other roles on the way including editing and vision mixing. I've developed a good eye for a strong composition and I get excited creating unique, permanent images out of fleeting moments so photography fits me like a glove - sometimes it feels kind of cheeky getting paid to do this, like one day I'm going to get caught out and made to get a proper job. Let's hope not.

I've put my on-set experience to work by specialising in production and publicity stills for the TV and movie industry, capturing dynamic scenes both in front of and behind the camera, building a relationship with the crew to get the best shots I can. I meet a lot of actors this way and so I added portraiture to my expertise; I prefer location-based portraits as brainstorming using the location can bring out new ideas. A final string to the bow is reportage photography for private and corporate events, which have taken me to some fantastic venues around London.
